There's going to be about 150 people there! I need something easy quick and good! :)

Thanks so much!

What have you seen at other open houses?

(This is for next year :] )

  1. deep fried mashed potato fritters with gravy

  2. Smart to start planning a year ahead. Meat and cheese platters and buns for sandwiches, potato salad, macaroni salad, watermelon fruit boats, sheet cakes, cookies, chips and dip, veggie platters. If you want to spend more money, then start adding hot foods like catered fried chicken, sheet pizzas, pasta and meatballs. Decide on your menu and make a complete list of everything you will need. Start looking for items on sale now that you can store for next year-like paper products, disposable food warming chafers, decorations. If you are going to rent a public hall or space for your party-lock in your date now and pay the deposit.  Around the holiday times starting in November watch for sales on bottled water and soda pop, condiments and other items with long expiration dates. Good luck

  3. mostly snacks.. maybe like little finger sandwiches.. those are easy. chips/dip. fruit. veggies. and a little bit of candy. M&Ms are usually good.. and skittles.

  4. What about sea food? Maybe some kind of shrimp and salmon.
