  1. www.scholastic.com

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom--that is the title of the books.  Dr. Seuss--any of them.  Disney books, Curious George, Sesame Street, any PBS shows are books now.  Actually many kids shows are books now as well.

Scholastic has a lot of books that are really cheap and well known.  If you are teaching at a preschool, then they will get them at a discount.  Go to an used book store, thrift store, yard/garage sale or go to friends that have kids and see if they will donate younger books to you.

  2. Try

    www.starfall.com

www.tumblebooks.com ( free trial, than memenbership)

    www.pbskids.com

    www.treehousetv.com

Make some with homemade pictures and together you can write the story.

  3. It would be better if you buy books and not go on websites. Some books that I can think of are:

    Dr Seuss

Disney (Little Mermaid, Lion King, Aladdin etc)

    The Very Hungry Caterpilla

    Mrs Spiders Series

    Some websites:

    http://www.preschoolrainbow.org/book-the...

    http://www.amazon.com/favorite-preschool...

  4. i agree. You can go to the local thrift stores and find books for super cheap. Preschoolers need concrete books to learn. A paper stack is not going to have the same effect.

  5. You need books! Please go get books! Even used books are better than no books at all for preschoolers.

  6. You will do better giving them a blank sheet of paper, kids love to use their imagination.
