Please guide me for Manali tour ,deluxe/Volvo bus booking from Chandigarh?

I have plan to stay 3N/4D in Manali.

Bus (Chandigarh to Manali)

Is it possible to book bus in same day , because I will reach Chandigarh around 12-1 PM.

Booking location and price?. is it safe to travel in these buses in night (if any personal experience than it will be much bette).
