  1. If you are from the USA you don't need one.


  2. US citizens do not need visa to tour Italy.

  3. US Citizen: You do not need a tourist visa if you are there for less than 90 days.  If you are staying longer, you must have a reason, and apply for a visa at your local Italian consulate.  It's time consuming so do it well before you need to leave. SEE: http://www.italyemb.org/
