  1. Hi Cyndi,

Consider the budget range that you are going for. You can get lots of restaurants at the StarHill gallery area, and romantic too. The price though can be above moderate, so eg like i had my birthday dinner there a couple of months ago, and that was about RM350 (we didn't have any wine, so if you have those expect a higher bill). You can see some videos of my dinner there at http://www.eonenet.com/internet_marketin...

I love food as well, so whether i'm in Hong Kong, Singapore or Malaysia, i take lots of food photos & place them on my blog at http://www.eonenet.com/internet_marketin...

If you looking at an afternoon event, then you can consider high tea during the weekends too. I had high tea at Nikko Hotel in early February, price is about RM58++ per person, but of course, high tea selection of food would not be as extensive as a full buffet.

Before deciding on the restaurant, ensure that you avoid food that both of you hate or are allergic too, otherwise you'll waste your planning effort.

    Best wishes,

    Fione Tan

  2. Ahh how about cookig him a personal dinner.

  3. Go the SARABAT stall ,

  4. I loved "Green Lotus" somewhere in K.L.. Bukit Bintang if im not mistaken. Price is reasonable.

Its really romantic, went there with my partner before.

Tarbush at Bukit Btg is nice, Or try, Italianese, at 1Utama. If yr budget is high, u could go to those restaurants at Hotels.

If not, why dont u just cook him a romantic dinner at home?

with only the two of u. that would be sweet and $$$ saving. =)

    good luck!

  5. Villa Danieli at the Sheraton Imperial KL.

  6. There are tons of inexpensive places to eat in Petaling Street. There's this kopitiam place which is a bit more expensive but the food is relatively good. Then, there's also the Swiss Inn.

Bukit Bintang on the other hand has tons of high end restaurants from French to Lebanese. There's this Lebanese place called Tarbush which is quite ok and there are also a couple of other Arabian and Chinese restaurants.

In Chankat Bukit Bintang there are French,Cuban,German and Lebanese restaurants.

You could also try out hotels around the golden triangle which offer great food if your not on a budget.
