  1. It depends on the place as well as what job you're applying for. I run rides at an amusement park during the summer, and my interview was pretty simple. They asked a lot of questions like: How do you treat people you don't particularly like? Do you procrastinate? and How do you organize your tasks. They also asked me to tell them stories about times when I intentionally broke rules and how I accomplished a goal among other things. They just want to know that they are dealing with someone of character.

I know Disney has a little more intensive interview process, but amusement parks aren't difficult places to get jobs. Just be confident and answer their questions.

  2. They want to know if you have had any problems with police or other authorities (some people try to work at carnivals to hide from someone) My brother was a carny for close to 7 years and he said they want to know how you would handle disruptive customers, how you would feel about kids throwing up on you after a fast ride, and how good you are at handling details because those rides need to be put together safely.

  3. Depends on the job.  Can you be nice yet firm with a guy old enough to be your grandpa?

Can you make change?  They are looking for dependable and honest people.

You need to be there when they ask you to be.  You need to work while you are there.  You need to be a walking billboard for them when you are not working.  You need to make the customers enjoy their time and want to return.  Now the real thing you do in an interview is to make them know that you understand their needs and will do your best to make it happen.   Good Luck.
