Man slices out girl's tongue, ignites her after 'heated debate on religion'

A Saudi Arabian Muslim father cut out his daughter's tongue and lit her on fire upon learning that she had become a Christian.The child became curious about Jesus Christ after she read Christian material online, the Gulf News reported.

Her father read of her Internet conversation, detached her tongue and burned her to death "following a heated debate on religion," according to an International Christian Concern report.

The father is employed by the muwateen, or Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The muwateen are police tasked by the government with enforcing religious purity. The man has been taken into custody, and his identity has not been released.

The ICC pointed out the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom has reported textbooks at the Saudi Arabian government school in Northern Virginia teach, "It is permissible for a Muslim to kill an apostate (a convert from Islam)."

Saudi Arabian oil money is used to export Wahabbism – a version of Islam said to be least tolerant toward non-Muslims – to other nations, including the U.S., ICC notes.

ICC president Jeff King said, "Saudi Arabia has to treat Christians with the same respect that it wants Muslims to be treated in other countries. It has to stop exporting hate and persecution against Christians in other countries."

In Muslim religion, it is a mortal sin to date a Christian let alone become one, the rules are clear, you break em and your dead. So many cases of death because they dishonored Allah, their father or brothers, and they have a right to murder because of this belief, absolutely wrong. But that is their Law, and it will continue. no matter what we think

Such people give Islam a bad image..Islam is the religion of peace and harmony, and God is not tolerant with those who kill oneself or others

I did not read the article, but a Muslim doing that is shocking as we are very well verse about Jesus Christ & Christianity, in fact in that sense, most of the Islamic teaching teaches us about the other Prophets & to understand other religions of the world. As for the Muslim many of the Christian I know - Jesus is one of the many Prophets. The Saudi understand the Holy books more as it is written in their tongue. Most of us respect other religions as that is the teaching of Islam and that was preach by Prophet Muhammad.

There are incidents, but not just the Muslims, the others do the extreme too. Islam always been scrutinize by the others as they do not understand us & what is all about our religion. The people who study history sincerely should know better about the Muslim world and the Muslims.

There are many propaganda by every corner trying to belittle us and saying that we are the extremist. Most of us just want to live peaceful with anyone at all. As I said I do not doubt there minority in every religious are extremist in their approach. It is about learning & understanding each other. I did mentioned once Jesus Christ is from Israel & he is a Jew, but the Jews does not accept him, there it goes, you get what I mean. We the Muslims accept Jesus Christ.

The Christians want to believe that he is the son of God, we don't - we believe he is a Prophet preaching God's way of living this life and that is all. The Jewish people are just the same as us Muslims, only they don't accept Prophet Muhammad. It is just a matter of faith. Like me, I cannot accept human to be the son of God. God is ultimate, no one look like God and no human being can be God.

The killings by the American's government everywhere in the world are worst than the killings by the Muslims. Then again war is outdated, not that people give much care about the military power the US of A have - ancient approach.

I can list down more about the non Muslims doing worst to the Muslims community, but that is not the point. Shouldn't go haywire about the matter we are not sure off. I advice anyone at all learn about the true teaching of Islam and for that matter learn about all the religions exist and respect each other before we jump to conclusion.

Then again human are quite primative, be them anyone at all, it is difficult for my kind to teach civilization to human
