Please help, I'm going crazy!?

Every one in my family thinks that I'm too skinny! I'm 4' 11 and I weight 106.5 lbs. which is totally normal for my height. My parents have me eating more than usual and constantly giving me speeches about how I'm too skinny which is totally not true I'm normal for my height. I know my parents and my family really care about me and I truly really do appreciate and love them for that but I think that they are seriously over reacting. How can I convince them that my weight is fine (I checked my BMI and it said my weight was healthy)? And please no rude comments

  1. Just show them you are eating healthy and they will see that you arent starving yourself or anything extreme.

  2. show them the stats

  3. Maybe what you should try is go to the doctor have he/she check you out so the doctor can confirm your health and help prove to your family that your fine.

  4. Simply talk to them and tell them that you are average and you don't like being pushed to eat more than you can. Btw, I'm 4'11 and 86 pounds, so you're probably normal. :)

  5. thats a tough one? ummmmmmmmmmm lol im usually pretty good at these type of things.......?? umm idk lol maybe see if ur doctor could tell ur parents that u are healthy. srry thats the only thing i can think of at the moment if i think of anythin else ill come back on tat one

  6. Be like my ribs arn't popping out and all of my spine isnt showing so i'm not to skinny. and also be like I'm short that means porpantly i should be a lighter weight.

    hope it helps. (:

  7. tell them thank you for looking out for you, but you're fine. i hate when people think that i need to eat more than i do...it's annoying, but they mean well. good luck!

  8. This is just something I've noticed - people with small b*****s look skinnier than people with larger chests. Before I got b***s (through the magic of surgery) people always used to say I was too skinny, then when I had b***s, no one said that anymore. It's the same with celebrities - it's usually the flat-chested ones who they are always saying are anorexic.

This theory only works if you're flat-chested, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

  9. Yes you are totally healthy!

There is no reason for your parents to be doing that, either show them the stats or go to the doctor and have her tell them!

  10. First of all I would show them the guidelines that you are within a normal weight for your height.  If they still are constantly battling you to eat all the time, I would have them make an appointment with your family physician and have him discuss this with family (mainly your parents).

Is there a reason you are aware of that they are overly concerned about your weight?  Are they under or overweight themselves?  It could be any number of underlying reasons...maybe something they grew up with.  You seem to be happy with your body and weight.

  11. It might be a look thing. Try improving your muscle mass. Do that, and they def can't say you are unhealthy or starving yourself. Who ever saw a tone anorexic!

Def show them the stats too
