Please help, I have trouble talking to people?

I have great trouble talking to and mingling with people, please help!! Anyone have any tips on what to do and say to them? I hate it when a conversation ends in an awkward silence...

So many people write because they have the same problem you do. We all get stuck now and again. I have answered this question several times, but I'll give you the same advice. Preparation is key when you are socializing. People love to talk, so you need to write down some questions to ask. Not really personal questions though. Write down things like, "Have you been on vacation this summer?" Or, "How old are your children?" (People love to talk about their kids.) Compliment a woman on something she's wearing. Women love receiving compliments. Write out questions like this and prepare asking them in front of a mirror. Oh, and remember to smile. A smile is a worldwide symbol of acceptance. Keep your notes with you when you go out. If you feel overwhelmed, excuse yourself and go to the washroom and take a few deep breaths. Look in the mirror and tell yourself that your doing great. Smile at yourself in the mirror and then get back out there and mingle and ask questions.  Have fun!

Me too.. :(

But i'm trying to be friendly.I'm really shy with them.But i always join them.

And when they talking with me,i'm thinking of other topic so it will not ends in awkward silence.

Me too, don't know what the answer is though. sorry.  There's probably thousands of us out there, running around bumping into awkward silences.
