Question:

Please help, can't fall asleep!?

Ok so I just came back from a trip to Hawaii. The time time difference is about 6 hours. School starts very soon! I need help falling asleep. Once I got 0 hours of sleep and fell asleep during the day I couldn't bear the sleepiness. I've tried drinking hot tea at night, massaging my feet or other tense parts, and drinking hot milk before bed. Please help, and no drugs or things similar to drugs please.

  1. Stay up kinda late, and wake up kinda early.  Make sure you have a full day.  If nothing else help clean the house, wash the cars or something to keep you up for the rest of the day.  Then go to bed at the time you need to for school and get up the next day as if you are going to school.  Doing this by day three you'd be ready for school time.  Good Luck.

    same thing happen here i just got back form hawaii about a week ago lol

    well yeah just stay up till you fall asleep then the next day you'll be sleeping normally again oh and the next day wake up about the same time people in your house do(:

I think you could be suffering from insomnia, Dont drink hot tea, as it has caffeine and it will make you not be able to sleep, warm milk/milo might be the thing, try regular exersize before going to bed, e.g. Go for a jog to tire yourself out, Watch some Tv, Relax. Most of the time it is just your head getting anxious that you've forgotten about how to sleep. Just sit back and relax. Play a game, and just chill out. Lie on the couch and watch some tv. That should help you.

  7. Read a book, or even a magazine... anything as long as you are lying in bed comfortable reading then your eyes and mind will start to get tired then you'l lay down to rest your eyes and SNAP youl be out like a light :)

    of course if that doesn't quite work out for you you could try massaging your left wrist, somewhere in the left wrist is your nerves that can make you really sleepy.. chinese have discovered it
