When I open up the ''lips'' of my v****a, I see that the area underneath the clitoris is torn slightly. It may be the hymen, but I am not sure. I have NEVER had s*x, but have masturbated. (I am a virgin.) It does not burn at all whenever I urinate, and if I haven't have taken a look, I would have never noticed since I feel absolutely fine. Will this heal? How long does it usually take to heal? I have been keeping it clean and washing the area gently. THERE IS NO BLOOD whatsoever when I tore it. Could it be I popped my cherry? Is this a serious matter? I am worried, but I don't want to see a gyn if it isn't neccessary. It doesn't hurt at all. What do I do? Am i still considered a virgin? Do not tell me to see a gyn, because I do not think it is that bad. I am 15.

  1. If you have NOT had s*x, you are still a VIRGIN.  It doesn't matter if you still have a hymen or not.  Hymens can be broken through  exercise, horseback riding, injury, etc.  You may have even been born without one.  Hymens are not a good indicator of virginity.

You don't have to go to a doctor.  Even if you did break it, there won't be any lasting damage.  It won't burn when you pee.  (if it does then you probably have a bladder infection--it's not from breaking your hymen)

And just so you know: the hymen is at the opening in the v****a.  You can see it with a mirror.  If just looks like a thin band of tissue that separates your v****a opening into two parts.

  2. first relax the hymen can tear from strenuous activity and is not always painful enough to make you aware .

and you would still be a virgin

  3. that is not the hymen. the hymen is deep inside of you. you just over did it. chill out a few days and it will be healed.

  4. yes, you are still a virgin, but im not sure iff that is where the hymen is but i dont think thats where it is, because you most likely would have bled if it was torn.

try looking looking up hymen and see if  you et better results than i did.

  5. no u dont need to see a gyn i m********e to its just like having s*x without losing ur virginity even gymnastics can break it so dont worry but i dont no when it will heal

  6. You're fine!  It could be you tore it long ago.  If there is no pain or bleeding, there is nothing to worry about.  It won't "heal" in the sense of growing back together.

BUT, the state of your hymen has nothing to do with whether or not you're a virgin.  If you've never had sexual intercourse, you're still a virgin.  I waited until I got married to have s*x but I had some problems with ovarian cysts and needed surgery.  All manner of things were put up there during the surgery and it didn't make me not a virgin despite what it did to my 'cherry'.  My husband didn't care.
