Question:

Please help, questions about becoming a pharmacist?

Alright, so I currently am a junior in high school. I've known since third grade that I wanted to become a pharmacist. I really would like to go to Palm Beach Atlantic University: http://www.pba.edu

What do I have to take to become a pharmacist? Do I have to go pre-med? Then, what do I do after that? Does PBA have all of that? Also, how long does it take to become a pharmacist?

Please let me know. Sorry for all the questions, the guidance counselors at my school don't help in the least bit. Please help, thanks. C=

You future school has a program that wil guarantee you admissions to the pharmacy school which is:

    Submit three letters of recommendation.

Be interviewed by a Pharmacy faculty member and receive an unconditional favorable recommendation from the School of Pharmacy Admissions Committee.

I got all this info from the website. oh it is a 6yr program from when you enter into the university as a freshman. Once you finish the program, you will have a PharmD degree and ppl will call you Dr. Definitely go and check out the website. Sometimes you have to go and do everything on your own b/c some guidance counselors are lazy. Good Luck
