I posted an advert looking for a summer job a few weeks ago, and recieved a phone call from a bloke who said sorry, his work is more "in the adult industry" when he realised i wasnt 18.

today he phoned me back and said the good thing is, there is a company that is giving out promotional gift boxes, but would i please do a survey..

the questions he asked became more and more personal, and just as i became to feel quite uncomfortable he said thanks, i'd completed the survey, a woman would be in touch for my address or for the address i would like my promotional gift boxes delievered at.

what do you think? valid or not? am i likeley to get something delievered with an extortionate delivery charge attatched? or is no such woman likley to phone.

  1. It sounds like a bit of a strange thing to me and I think it is a scam of some sort.If this person or the woman ring please do not give them your address just tell them your not interested you never know what they would send you or if is just some way to try get hold of your address.

  2. It sounds a bit iffy, to me.

The 'adult industry' sounds suspect, I would

advise you to steer clear of anything to do

with it. I very much doubt if you will receive

a 'promotional gift box' from them.

  3. sounds seriously strange, hope you didnt give out your full name, age, address........

  4. As soon as they started asking asking personal questions I'd have told them to p**s off. Those questions don't have anything to do with gift boxes really. They probably want you for p**n I'd just ignore them from now on.

  5. nope , sorry

    wish i knew!

  6. Y.O.U. must be nuts to trust anyone who starts asking personal questions like that, do your parents know, please do not entertain any body who does that or you may become a headline, don't tell the world tell your parents .. PLEASE

  7. Do you REALLY want to give your address out to someone who works in an "adult industry"?

    You better think about that.

  8. Well the fact he said the "adult industry" should have given you a clue - don't you understand what that means...?!

  9. If you get another phone call, just HANG UP. Don't give out any more personal information.
