I was house sitting for my aunt (my mom's sister) while she went to a dinner party. My friend and I were playing sock-baseball in the family room. He smacked one really good and it made it to the living room and knocked over an urn above the fireplace. It fell to the ground and all the ashes spilled out. I think it was supposed to be glued shut, but it came undone. Anyway, I was just going to just scoop it up and put it back, but I used a wet rag and pretty much made mud of everything. I went to the BBQ grill and replaced it with some ashes from there and re-glued the urn. I never told her what happened. The other day my cousin said he was thinking of telling her. How can I keep him from saying anything?

  1. Best thing to do is to tell your Aunt yourself before your cousin does. Then she'll hear what happened from you.You should have told her straight away, now its going to be really hard, but you must.

  2. Mmmm - something from your story sounds to 'c**p comedy caper' - if on the otherhand it is true then you should be ashamed.

People dont keep the ashes because they have no choice they keep them because they loved and cared for the person.

If its a joke - your not very funny.

If its serious - your not very respectful.

Either way - your not nice.

  3. you need to tell her
