  1. This is an error that is solved by cleaning the registry. This internet exlorer error is a known sympton of registry problems. You use a registry cleaner to clean your registry from errors and invalid entries which causes this problem. You can find information and reviews on registry cleaners at the link below.

  2. Start out by having a backup system - download Ubuntu and write it to a CD, so that you can always boot your computer and use it!

With Ubuntu, never a problem with the system monitor/task manager.

Also, never any win32 'exception' or silly error messages like that. It mostly just works with free software included.

Next step is to make sure you have documents, pictures, music and stuff on a separate partition  - D: STORAGE is a good name for it, and then you should ONLY have your system software on C:

Next COPY all of your drivers to a folder in STORAGE, also any backups you have of installer files etc.

Next, insert windows XP CD and clean up the trash, fresh install is the best - and after you finish, make sure there's a spare space on the disk to install Ubuntu - use that for all internet access, and Windows could last a lot longer!

Now I use XP with NO networking - but only really for games. For everything else I use Ubuntu, it looks nicer, it runs sweeter and has (funny idea) an ANTIVIRUS scanner. It never finds anyting in Ubuntu, but it's useful for cleaning up anything I want to plug in that came from other windows computers....

    Windows is dirty.

  3. Your own fault for using ie, use firefox :P
