I have this qn:

B - black, b -brown fur R- long r-short

A homozygous rabbit with long black fur what proportion of rabbits will have long black fur, of these which will be homozygous for both>?

Is the F1 - 9:3:3:1?

If so what does 'the offspring are intercrossed' mean???

  1. okay i accept your questions should be awarded a million stars...

  2. it depends who the homozygous rabbit mates with....

  3. offspring are inter crossed means reproduction of the f1 generation, i.e, d f2 generation

    d f1 Phenotype ratio is 9:3:3:1

Proportion depends whether d other animal is homozygous or not

if both r homozygous, then all rabbits will b homozgous.

if d other is BbRr( heterozygous), then,

    there will b 1 homozygous

cud u add some additional details(abt d other rabbit)?

(i can check it out later...)
