Please help!! Bedroom question?

Let's take a vote(ish)

We are remodeling a house and we have a few bedrooms that have wood paneling on the sides of the walls (only half way up). It's called a wainscoting wall

Do you think we should keep it and just paint it white and the rest of the room would be a tan color? Or just take it down? I'm not sure if it is in style, but it might be kind of cool.

wainscoting is a great country rustic feel but its all about your style i suggest you paint the room a warm earthtone like a caramel or even a darker color with a white ceiling and white wainscoting you can go a few shades darker without making the room feel small

Keep the wainscoting. It is still in fashion and probably will be for a long time! Paint it white, it will look great! Will add charm to the room.

Wainscoting is not for everyone, but it is an added detail that can make a room more interesting!  If you are remodeling your own home, it can be a matter of if it "fits" you and your style, not necessarily what's "in."
