I asked this question awhile ago...but, i didnt get enough answers...plus now I have updates.

So here goes!

LMP was odd...no cramping really...but I bled normally for 3 days, then spotted brown for another 4. My periods are usually 4-5 days and it is completely gone by day 5.

So about two days after my period had ended, I started getting cramps. I figure that I'm not done bleeding yet, but nothing ever shows up. The cramps came and went, on and off for a couple days. I went on not thinking too much about it...but then about a week after the last day of my last period, the came back. This time I could not help but notice. I was at work, up in the woods. I had a dull backache, but blamed it on other things. Then these cramps come, and I had to step aside and take a breather. I kept checking to see if I had started bleeding again...nope. These went on for another three days. Ok, so ANOTHER three days go by...they are still kind of present, but nothing to distracting. The 23rd and 24th roll around, and I get many more, consecutive cramps. I believe this is when I ovulated, but i don't know how I'm supposed to know that since I've had ewcm all month along with the cramps. Anyhow, they let off a little bit, but around the 27th I was still having these pains. They can be sharp, dull and are on either side. About halfway between navel & pelvic bone, but closer to my hip-bones.

On the 30th, I had stretchy ewcm, lots of it. Today is Sept. 1st and I'm still getting these cramps. ARG.

Can anyone make sense of this? I'm trying to put it out of my mind, but i'm just so baffled. This has never happened.

  1. it sounds like the pain is coming from your ovaries, which can be quite normal if you are ovulating, (but you can't be during the times you have stated you are having the pain)

the pain 2 days after your period had ended would not be ovulation pains ,it is to soon, i wish i could tell you what the pain was, but can't.

this matter should be seen to by doctor, asap

    goodluck to you

  2. I had the same thing only mine went on for a month at a time every few months for about 10 years. The doctors never could tell me what it was and always sent me on my way...until one day a lady doctor decided to check me for Coeliacs disease...wheat/gluten intolerance. I'm not saying this is what you have but maybe the pain is being caused by something in your diet. Think back and see if there's anything you changed since you started getting these pains.

I would suggest seeing a doctor and getting a blood test...u may also be deficient in a particular vitamin or something...

Anyway ever since i had my diagnosis i've stayed off the wheat and gluten and dont get the pain anymore.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck.
