Okay so I live in the Usa and I want to go to college in England. The problem is...I don't know much about their education over there because it is different then over here. Like When I look at a course requirements it says for example A level. I don't know what that means or anything....all I know is that I'll have a Regents High school diploma soo could someone please explain to me everything I have to know about these requirements and stuff?

  1. An A level is the final exam you take before leaving school. I don't know what the American equivalent is.

    Hope that helps.

  2. Generally, you go to college (sometimes called sixth form) and study A-Levels. You take four subjects of your choice when you are 16-17 years old at 'AS Level' and then most students opt to drop one subject and when they are 17-18 years old, they take 3 subjects at 'A-Level'. These A-Levels go on their CV (résumé) and help people to get jobs, and if you want to go to university, universities will look at your A-Level results. =]

    Good luck.
