Please help :Hurricane Help ?

Ohkay, so me and my family are going to JAMAICA august 21 - 30

and i recently learned that august and september are notorious for hurricanes.

my question is do they usually hit around that time?

is there any way to find out when they will hit?

BTW we are staying at runaway bay, soo.. its like the very north of jamaica. when hurricanes do hit is runaway bay strongly hit?

You will be fine.  You are going next week and the there is currently nothing going on in the Atlantic.  It takes several weeks for a Tropical Depression to strengthen and move from Africa to the anywhere near Jamaica.  Even if one were to start brewing today, you will be done with your vacation and home again before it ever reached Jamaica.
