  1. Hi,

Usually it is a good idea to start taking prenatal vitamins right around the time you are thinking of having a baby. But it is not late now either. You can get any prenatal vitamins over the counter at any store.Every women TTC is as desperate  as you are.. trying to dodge  AF and get a BFP on the HPT. Cramping and bloating are also signs we have before AF sets in. So it is really tough to judge on that one. The best time to test will be soon after or a couple of days after you missed your period. I wish you a BFP soon.. ...!!! Good luck

  2. Not sure EXACTLY how long it takes the sperm to reach the egg. I think I've heard it takes 24 hours. However, it takes a couple of weeks for it to show up on a HPT.  The fastest response time as far as when you can confirm pregnancy is a blood test from your obgyn.  you need to fake folic acid and prenatal vitamins.

  3. Yes you can get cramping and bloating feeling in early sages of pregnancy you should do a test but remember not all tests show accurate, if you are pregnant you need to be taking folic acid tablets daily to help the development of the baby good luck!

  4. Cramping and bloating are pregnancy signs, but they are also PMS signs. You should wait until you've missed your period to take the test, because it takes a while for the hormones to build up in your system. It takes 7-10 days after conception for the egg to implant in your uterus and start producing hormones.  As for vitamins you can buy a prenatal vitamin at Walmart or any drug store. Make sure it has folic acid. That is the one that prevents birth defects. Good Luck!

  5. Ok I was very bloated before I even knew I was pregnant so that is a possibly and I was cramping like my period was going to start but it never did. Even with the first response test that tell you early they are not as accurate as waiting until your period is late, I know its hard but it is more accurate results when you wait. If you are trying to conceive then it is a good idea to go ahead and start taking prenatal vitamins even if your not pregnant yet, it will better prepare your body for a healthy pregnancy. Good luck.

  6. Cramps are a sign of pregnancy, as well as pms. Many women feel as though their period is going to start any given second, and it never does. Turns out they're pregnant! My fiance's sister said that she felt like her period was about to come, and it never did. She was pregnant, and for the whole 1st month of her pregnancy she swore her period was going to show, it obviously never did! Implantation normally takes place 5-12 days after confirmed ovulation. It can happen sooner or later than that, it just depends. The closer you wait to your expected period, the more accurate your test results are going to be, and less chance you have a getting a false negative. My best friend tested with first response, the day of missing her period, and got a negative. She then continued to test negative for 7 days. It wasn't till her 8th day of being late when she finally got a positive result, and found out she was indeed pregnant. That just shows how greatly hCG levels vary. I would recommend waiting till the 1st day of your missed period to test, but it doesn't hurt to test early. You may be one of the lucky ones to show a positive! Prenatal vitamins should be taken while TTC. It's actually a good idea to start them 3 months before trying. Start them now, and stay on them, even if you aren't pregnant this month. The folic acid in them is crucial for your growing baby. Good luck to you, and lots of baby dust!
