Please help! I can't find a certified brake and light inspection center!!?

I've looked for quite a long time on the net, and called a bunch of places, but I can't find a place that can inspect my car. I have a salvaged car, and I need to get an official brake and light inspection. I've called a few places, and they all seem to not know what I'm talking about. I live in El Monte, Ca. I don't mind driving. Please help if you know of a place nearby. I've already looked at the DMV site and unofficial DMV site, but I'm not getting anything. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Please help!

HI

I would call the DMV in your area and tell them what you need they should have a list of places in your area that can do that. If they don't understand what you are looking for then tell them that you have a salvaged car and need to be able to title and register it. Maybe they well get you going in the right direction.
