  1. Take her straight to hospital, She may have a reaction to it. Those type of tablets are very strong for a 2 year old, Just to be certain get her to the hospital.

  2. First of All you don't waste time putting a question online when a child swallows a pill. And second why aren't the pills put up? There's a question for you and i'm sure you'll have time to answer it. Next time call 911 as soon as it happens don't give her any more time die! And quit baby-sitting you're obviously horrible at it. :-)

  3. Why is panadol sitting around?  What kind of babysitter would hop on line and ask a bunch of strangers what to do?  Call 911 and stop babysitting.

  4. I completely agree with Jason G!!!!!!!!!!!  Stop posting online when you should have called 911!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Also, you should have called the parents...ASAP AFTER 911.....You are NOT responsible enough to be babysitting!!!!!!!!!!

  5. call 911 duh...

  6. No, not harmless but shouldn't be deadly unless she reacts abnormally.  If you're in NSW call Kidsnet 02 9845 2432 (for medical info) or the poisons info centre on 131126.

(Am assuming you're in Oz seeing as I filtered "Questions from Oz only" ... sorry if you're not as my info will be useless.)

  7. This was information I found on Panadol extra strength otc. It is a pain killer/ fever reducer. There were a few to choose from. I have included the link to where I got the info from. Hope this helps you.

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US National Poison Hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center. Symptoms of overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, increased sweating, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine, severe stomach/abdominal pain, extreme tiredness.

    NOTES:

Acetaminophen does not cause the stomach and intestinal ulcers that NSAIDs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen may cause. However, acetaminophen does not reduce swelling (inflammation) like the NSAIDs do. Consult your doctor for more details and to see which medication might be right for you.

    MISSED DOSE:

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

    STORAGE:

Store at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.
