When I turn it on it keeps beeping but nothing comes on the screen. It started happening when I was playing a game that came standard with the computer. Any ideas on how to fix this????

  1. Are you sure the monitor plug didnt come loose or something? check that first, then call HP if it still doesnt work. It would cause beeps because the video card reads it as a hardware failure.

  2. I suggest using the HP recovery manager that should be included. It usually appears during the boot up screen and tells you to press a certain key for Recovery Manager. If all fails, go back to where you bought it if you still have a warranty, or contact HP.

  3. Call HP, especially if it's under warranty.

To the ones below the computer is not even posting (nothing will come up on the screen), there is a hardware issue. Learn more about computers. Loose monitor cables do not cause system beeps.
