It depends on how you spell it. If you spell it A-U-B-R-E-E it would be considered a "girl" name, if you spell it A-U-B-R-E-Y it would be considered a "boy" name.

It is an unisex name Aubree both for a girl or a boy...The spelling doesn't matter Aubrey too is both a name for girls and boys . it is of Germanic origin and means Elfin king so as it says Elfin king and not queen I think it is better for a boy..
