Please help! I have to write an essay....?

The essay says to do this:

Write an essay of two of the following sciences: biology, ecology, earth science, or astronomy

Describe what you believe any two of these sciences to be and their scope. What are the differences between them and how do they overlap?

So what should I do? Which sciences should I pick? And can you give me some examples please? Thank you!
