Please help! I want my hermit crab to play!?

My hermit crab sebastian is a grumpy crab! I have blown warm air into his shell, i have dipped it in water (not even two inches of it! i wouldnt drown him!) and i tried talking to him!! What can i do to make him come out and play?

one hermit crabs are social animals, but if you want him to come out for you you must put it on your hand and wait for it to come out trust me I have two of them and one of them takes like five minets to come out of its shell

Put him on top of some blocks, like those building blocks that babies play with when they're little. Or you could set him on a monopoly board with the dice to play with, and that would make an adorable picture!

Maybe take him outside and play with him in your garden? You could also get him a friend, and when you pick one out look for one that's moving and is out of its shell. That's how you know you get a good one!
