The babys are still with there mom and are eating and drinking fine.( We are working on a cage so we can seperate them) Now heres were im confused. I went out to check on them today and I found 4 new born babys in there!? 1 was dead and one more died not to long ago :'( I have one that is acting strange and one thats seems fine. Ive been trying to feed them KMR. Help!! how could that happen and what do I do now!?

  1. well after a rabbit gives birth never let the male stay with the female and the newborns and if you do the father will eat the baby or might kill it(a possibility).i hope you feel better after your favs died

  2. you need to put them all in deferent cages sell all the females and males, but save one just for you.

  3. i am wondering how long after the first batch of babies were born did you wait to put the momma and them in a seperate cage...

rabbits can breed like right away after they give birth..not good for em,but they can..it sounds like thats what happened...even if you just waited like one day..or an hour...after the first litter..thats enough time for them to breed.and the time frame sounds right too,,,,i dont think one of her babies got to her,,if they are just four weeks old..i think thats too young still to breed..

it could cause the momma to have trouble,,like still birth and unhealthy little ones..its really hard on them to be pregnant and be nursing a litter...

if your older babies are eatin solid food and drinkin you can move them to a seperate cage and let her try to save the new litter..

i have never had any luck with nursing a lil bunny:(,,

you may tho..keep tryin..u can use an eye dropper or a medicine syringe they give you at the vet..

hope it works out for ya..good luck
