  1. DON'T FEED HIM!  it could have rabies so i would maybe call someone that is good with animals or a wild humane society. :)

  2. If the baby rat has his eyes open it means he can probably eat the same thing a big rat eats. Bread, pasta, cereal, my pet rat had a thing for mac and cheese.

If his eyes are still closed then ur gonna have to gets some goat milk (easiest on a babies tummy) you can find it at ur local grocery store. I buy it a walmart in a can in the baking section. If he has hair ur gonna feed him about every 4 hours if no hair every 2. I do not remember if baby rats need to have there genitals rubbed to go to the bathroom, if his eyes are still shut u might wanna try to be on the safe side. take a q tip or finger dip in warm water to do this. rub kinda fast but gentle until p**p and pee come out. get some pedalite to give to him because he might be dehydrated. if u have anymore questions iht7713@yahoo.com. I've done this before except with a wild mouse. to see go to www.myspace.com/luckylittlemouse

  3. try seeing if it will take some fruit. if not it might not be weened yet. try leaving it alone near the mother for at least an hour, if she still doesn't come out or leaves then you need to take care of the baby. make sure it stays warm. you can call a vet and ask their advice over the phone.

  4. since rats cant get rabies because they are so small you might want 2 try some fruit and try to get him out if there is any way that u can get him out without hurting him (unless he is already out) but try to find an owner for him

    hope this helps : )
