Question:

Please help! My hibiscus looks sick!

I live in NC, and It blooms from late June to mid October. I had put down fresh mulch in the spring around the base, and it was fine. Last weekend I gave it the Miracle Gro Bloom Buster feed (recommended by a friend last year and it worked!), but it has not seemed to help. Here is what it looks like: the leaves are starting to fold, the buds are crumbly looking and turn brown, they are not blooming. This has been for a couple of weeks now........I'm very concerned. There are NO bugs on it. Earlier in the season I had used Sevin on it twice to get rid of those hard shell beatle bugs. The sevin works good. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you :-)

  1. Perhaps you over fertilised it. If you are still using the miracle grow stop and just use regular water for a few days to a week and monitor the plants condition. If it dies keep watering it because i just might come back to life. But if this contiues for weeks then your hibiscus plant may be truly dead.
