Question:

Please help. Should I stay with my partner or leave now??

My partner and I have been together only 8 months. I recently found out I am pregnant. (10weeks) I always told my partner if this happened I would keep the baby and we both aware this was a possibility (me falling pregnant). He has only a year ago come out of 10 yr relationship and already has a 4yr old son. At first he was excited about the baby however since has continued to change his mind. He one minute loves me and wants us to be together and the next he is saying I should not be having this baby and that he not sure about "Us" and doesn't see a future with me! He feels that this all too soon and not what he wants. However when I get the courage to say I'm leaving he wants me and the baby to stay. This has been going on the last 4 weeks and he just keeps going from one extreme to the other, meanwhile I am on an emotional roller coaster not knowing if I am doing this alone or with the man I love. Do I leave now and raise this child on my own or do I stay and hope that he will become sure of me and this baby over time????

  1. don't wait for him to make a decision make your own decision, do you want someone who is thinking of deserting you while you are pregnant with his child. you should of been using protection if you weren't sure about having a baby so maybe it is time for you to me more responsible stand on your own two feet and tell him to get lost. your baby is what is important now

  2. I would sit down with him and tell him to make a decision and stick to it, and that if he changes his mind again you'll make the decision for him, and that it will be final! You are pregnant, you don't need this stress, it's not good for you, or the baby!

  3. I would probably take my chances with him at least a couple more times and if he doesn't get it together, its over. Your boyfriend seems as if might try to leave you and the baby. (Even when you're in labor or afterwards; he doesn't know what he wants right now, eventually)
