Ok I'm getting a bird but I'm not sure which one I want. It has to be small, social, loyal, colourful. I want a bird that likes attention, but the bird won't make a fuss when it doesn't get it. I want one that will hop onto your hand if you put it in its cage. Any answer would be great help!

  1. Parakeet or Parrotlet. Just be sure to give them toys when you're not playing with them.

  2. A cockatiel is your best bet. If they are hand-fed they are the sweetest birds that are social and very patient. But they can be messy. Also, they can be loud in the morning and at night. You can quiet them down using a cage cover. But any bird is right for you as long as you take good care of it and meet it's every needs.

  3. For a starter bird I suggest a cockatiel. If you want a quiet one get a female, If you want a singer get a male. These are great for first time bird owners. And they will get very attached, just make sure you get a hand fed one. Do some shopping around, dont pick the first bird you see. Their really are some sweethearts out there!

  4. Cockatiels make the best all around small birds.  They are big enough to seem like a small parrot, small enough to house easily, they are not terribly demanding, handfed birds are very friendly and they are relatively inexpensive compared to other larger parrots.

  5. well i suggest a green rumped parrotlet. they r great pets and love to b out of their cages and play. they love to cuddles with you and can talk.

they are great pets for a small home and dont make to much noise unlike other birds who are really loud.and the best part is that they dont bite unlike other parrots who bite really hard .my suggestion is a green rumped parrotlet. good luck :]

  6. Parakeet, Lovebird, and/or Parrotlet.

  7. Cockatiel

  8. any kind of bird is fine really, you just have to train it and it'll get used to you...

  9. parakeet or a cockatiel.

    you can train them.

i have both which are trained and love treats.

i let them free in the backyard and when i say follo, they follow me.

but make sure they are trained and are use to you/
