Hey! im a p*****n, and my parents are divorced, so im at my moms house for half of the week, and my dads for the other. the problem is, my mom doesnt think that i will be able to clean a pets cage for the most part. id do it when i get back to my moms house, and when im going to my dads. so twice a week. my mom said that she would feed it and water it, but not clean its cage.

so.... what kind of animal would be good for me? birds, small and furry, no reptiles or amphibians though! would 2 parakeets be good? because i heard they get lonely. it also has to be in a cage. no cats are dogs, cuz we dont have a big enough yard for a dog, and my mom doesnt like cats.

  1. parakeets are good. they do tend to get a little messy though so you should put some newspapers under the cage. I think a hamster might be a good choice too.

  2. ummmmmmm that a hard one, i think fish lol

  3. fish are good

  4. I bought my son a hamster. Changed food and water everyday, and cage once a week, in the begining. Since then, she now has a 150 gallon tank (a mansion) and only needs cleaning every 3 weeks. He also has a ball for her and she follows him around his room. Food and water still are changed every day.

  5. The parakeets are a good idea, but they can be messy. Most pet stores sell scatterless cages, which just means that the edges are raised out so that the birds can't scatter their food onto the floor.

  6. fish.
