I am currently in the Air Force DEP. I am trying to quick ship. Hopefully will in the next couple of weeks. But I have a concern. I have bowel trouble. I have been having bowel troubles for almost 2 years now or more. Thin stools and so on. Constipation. Pressure under left rib cage. Recently the only way to go is to smoke a cigarette and drink coffee. I don't want to do that. But today I woke up and I feel like my kidney's are swollen. I don't pee blood or anything, but I have pooped blood before. It's been a while and probably was only hemorrhoids or something. But I drink more than enough water per day. And urinate fine. No insurance, and waiting on the Air Force. SO should I just wait and get in the Air Force, pass BT and then get checked out. Because if I go to the hospital. I'll have a huge bill and no Air Force. The file will make them not accept me. So just wait to get in and have them fix me?

  1. ok well you may have to for your health.

but i can help you relieve your pain. eat fiber, and cut out most dairy eat lots of yogurt. and most of the presser will leave due to normal bowl movements. if worse comes to worse you can go to a free clinic under a fake name. but think about it, how will your body handle the changing altitude. you may and its sad but you may have to let go the air force for your life. because it could be a number of things. even cancer.

  2. For the sake of the goddess -- you have had blood in your stool and have NOT been to a doctor for a reference to a specialist????

It sounds to me like at least a partial intestinal blockage.  Go to a doctor immediately.  IMMEDIATELY.  Do not delay, do not worry about your air force career and do not talk yourself out of it -- get to a doctor -- if you can't bring yourself to describe the problem verbally -- take a print out of this question and hand it to him or her.  GET HELP AT ONCE.

    Regards,

    Hermes

  3. See a doctor.  ASAP, this sounds serious. Your career won't matter if you're seriously ill.

Also, in the mean time, try to eat healthy. Fruits and vegetables and lots of water should help with constipation.

  4. Well you could.  It is an option for you.   Your decision really.

While you are waiting,  you can begin to clean up your act in regards to your health,  it sounds like you are just lacking fiber,  and you  have have a sluggish digestive system and colon.  Thin stools is to do with years of build up of c**p on the sides of the intestine because of crappy diet.  Constipation is also to do with a crappy diet,  processed foods,  packet foods,  nothing fresh.  Too much white flour,  sugar and fat.

You can make changes to improve things right now.   Consume more whole grains,  fresh produce, fruits, veggies,  salads and cut back on all the processed c**p.  cut back on the old caffeine,  smoking and drinking.    Increase excercise,  that gets things moving.   Consider taking a product called Citrucel,  available at pharmacies,  walmart etc.. it is all natural and not a laxative.  Citrucel.  It is a fibre powder you mix in juice,  that can improve bowel movements.   You gotta look after the bowels and intestinal system.  Really important for your health.

Give the above a shot,  make some changes and see what happens.  Take responsibility for your own body and health.

  5. Consult your local county health department. Medicaid may help depending on what state you are in.   But, you need to see a doctor immediately.  What good is an Air Force career, if you are unhealthy.  Your symptoms could be from a number of things, colon issues, blockage in intestines, cancer.  Go get checked out immediately.  You only have one you.

  6. you are the only one that can answe that, you know the condition the pain, and there might be serious health issues down the road..
