  1. No cos lines r sold separately, for advance angler we do have lots of spare spool with different line capacity even different types of line for different fishing purposes.Don't worry just ask them nicely, they r very happy to do it for u but u must see it for yourself and ask question if unsure so u would learn it.Only high end reels r worth buying its spool cos the lower end reels wont last that long, mostly its the spring/clip or any movable  small parts would wear off even with great care. Some don't have spare-parts,mostly these low end reels.Anything below 100quid is considered low end in advance term.

  2. Nope, doesn't mean there's line already spooled on it. In my neck of the woods a fixed reel ain't nothin' but a' spinning reel ;)...< ' ( (( > <

Update: Sea (ocean) fishin' line, I wouldn't recommend because generally it's a heavier pound test and line properties vary some...

Spinning ("Fixed") reel and other types:

  3. Like Steelhead says, a fixed reel is a spinning reel and depending on the line (and weight class) you may be able to use this in freshwater. However, you should be able to change the spool on your spinning reel or purchase a spare spool that you can load up with line suitable for freshwater fishing. Tight lines and catch a bunch!
