Please help a girl out! i like love him!?

this guy i really really like and i have been talking and texting all summer long. now school has started. we have 1 class together. the first day of school we wer txting after school and he asked me why i didnt hug him at school and then i did the next day and we talkd a little at school. then the rest of the week he was getting mad at me and telling me i made promises to him, about things i dont even remember, and making me feel really really bad, in a playful sort of way, but still making me feel bad, then on thurs, we were in our class together and everyone is working and talking about the homecoming dance and ppl are talking to him and are like "hey you should ask (girls name)" and i was sooo upset , becasue he liked me earlier in the summer, and he said"okay yall ill ask her after school" (i dont know if he ever asked her) then on thurs after school we were taling and he asked me who was taking me to the dance and i said that i didnt know yet , and he was like uhhhh ok(this was over a text) then this weekend i went on vacation and while i was there me and my friend were really hyper , lol, and we were calling random people on my phone and leaving wierd voicemails, and we left him one, ibut i cant remember what he said. But he hasnt responded to any of my texts all weekend. If we dont text today, how do i deal with it tomorrow, and please any advice on the situation, please?

i know its long, but please only real answers , im very confused on the situation, and i actually am pretty mature...

and at the beginning of the summer he told me he liked the girl, but , later on in the summer he told one of my friends that he liked me, but when she asked him he said"i used to like her"

just so yall know, hes a really big charmer , like , the kinda guy that calls every girl baby, and gives them compliments , and to make matters worse i am sooooo attracted to him

we tell each other almost evrything and we always have really long coversations liek 11:00 pm to liek 3:00 am , (thru txting) but the last time we had that was last saturday, during class one of his friends was like omg n and him are always txting! it was so embarrassing but the guy i like didnt say anything about it.......i just need help, please

honest to god, i was in your situation before. he seems like a player. over the summer guys just want *** and they're do whatever it takes to be with ANY girl. he probably was s******g around with your heart. please be cautious with a "charmer" like him. if he's serious, he would be texting you and showing that he cares about you rather than thinking about asking another girl to a dance. ive had my own heart broken before and if i can do anything to prevent another girl from experiencing that, i would. thats why im telling you this. ask him straight up what you are to him. if he says a friend, obviously hes telling u that he has no interest in you romantically. if he says more than a friend ask him why he was acting so differently recently. get his intentions out upfront or else you might grow more attached to him and the jackass may lose interest. the effect- a broken heart. trust me on this. but i hope everything works out in the end.
