Please help about e-visa for Australia from India . please urgent?

i have apply in e-visa for autralia as on 19 sep 07. but my sem starts from 20th nov.along with that i have to attend the elogos from 29th oct 07 coz i have scored overall 6 band in ilets.should the immegration office give the visa before this date or i have to attend next session. when should the visa office give me visa.how much time it will take.should i change my course after i will be in australia ..

Tourist visas are usually approved immediately. I applied for a 12 month visa and it took about three weeks or so to process.

I think you're pushing it to get it completed in five weeks. Make sure that you submitted everything, and I mean everything, that is required. That would speed everything up. Good luck.
