  1. Sounds like you have a bit of an anxiety problem.  So do I. Try this.... Go to the store and get an herb called St. John's Wort, take it before school, don't forget to eat it with something. This herb helps with anxiety and I take it every night before bed because that's when I get anxiety. Also, when you start feeling nervous take some deep breaths and think about WHY it makes you nervous. Usually we are nervous about something that never even happens. It's just a fear we create in our heads.

  2. I know what your mean im right with you im so nervous about school today was my first day of school and last night I felt like I was in so much pain like my stomach was going to blow up. In the morning I had to get drugged up before I felt ok about going to school i took some benadryll and that helped but still after a while it faded off. I guess my moms looking into some other stuff im suggesting cannabis as a form for treatment and we are going to talk to the doc about it. I wouldn't reject medicine they can really help you would be surprised how much better you feel. I friggin hate school though i get way too anxious I wish my parents would just let me do homeschooling again. if I wasn't taking medication I would prolly be too anxious and just skip school its really the only thing that calms me down. I really hope you the best though try talking to your mom about something you can get schedule a doctors appointment to talk about it! it will really make you feel better.

  3. Some other people have made great suggestions, but a small, simple answer is to sit in the front of class, preferable in a corner. That way you can't see most of the students, which makes it easier..

  4. It's only the beginning of the school year, give it a chance & as long as we've been talking, I know you have the inner strength to hold on till you can turn it to your advantage.

  5. I sympathize with you, Hon. School is not easy and I think kids are

meaner to each other than they used to be. I am a teacher's aide in

the school system and see a lot I don't like.

Have you ever been afraid of small spaces before? Maybe it is because

the kids are jammed together and you feel uncomfortable. That would bother me a lot. Would it help to sit by a window (if there is one) or to sit right in front?

What I do is think of a wonderful time I had recently with friends or

family and concentrate on how nice that was. I also try to get my two

kitty's faces in my mind and that calms me down. I used to do it with my dog when she was alive. Thinking of her joyful attitude about

    life made me smile.

Hopefully, as school goes on you will get used to the class rooms.

Try not to let the meanies get you down. Work at your own accomplishments and be proud of yourself.

Remember: Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission.

Best wishes to you for the school year.
