Please help...above ground pool?

Question

i really want to get an above ground pool and so does my mom. but shes worried that it looks ugly. im trying to convince her...

can i have your honest opinion? do you think that it looks cheap or trashy?

personally, i think they look just a little trashy when its just a pool out in the open surrounded by nothing. but a lot of people who get above ground pools will surround the pool with a deck, thats what i did and i've seen several others that are absolutely beautiful. mine goes all the way around the pool with a nice and simple wood pattern, its connected to our extended back porch. theres a lot of pluses to above ground, they are cheaper, faster to put up or take down, easier to clean, easier to sell or buy, etc. I'll always recommend above ground vs. inground.
