Please help!!! (baby bird)?

okay so i just found a baby bird when i went to mow a yard and it was in the middle of the yard and over next to a tree there was a broken nest and there were no other birds around so i waited a while and after a little bit i took it home with me and i was wondering what can it eat because it is really hungry. please help quick! thanks

Take it to a vet, they'll take care of it for you.

it would be good if you have wild bird food, but if you don't you can feed it little pieces of chips with not too much salt or flavor on them.

if it has feathers, it is a fledgling and the parents take care of the babies on the ground.  please return the baby in the same area that you found it.  stand back far enough so you can see if the parents have come back.  if they have not come back in a few hours,  please contact a wildlife rehabilitator in your area.  please do not feed the bird, you could kill it in doing so.
