  1. unfortunately dragons can swallow large sized food that may and does kill them.

This puts pressure on the spinal cord as it passes threw the digestive system if pressure last to long permanent damage will occur.

If this is what you believe is wrong get him/her to your vet ASAP.meanwhile get dragon in a position where his/her stomach is hanging down this takes pressure off spine ASAP

Take a wash cloth and make into a donut shape and place him/her on this let stomach hang threw the hole.

Also a warm bath and mineral oil orally can help dislodge the item. DO A TEST to see if dragon is paralyzed tickle the toes  to see if he/she moves  If you believe he/she is paralyzed get to your vet ASAP this can be reversed if action is taken ASAP and in time and if impaction is removed.

  2. Since you don't have loose substrate the only way your lizard could be impacted is if you feed it way too many meal worms or superworms. The shells can block them up if feed an overabundance. Since he went to the bathroom, I also don't think impaction.  I had a collared lizard that seemed to do the splits all the time, his legs straight out in opposite directions. He could be stretching. If you try to touch them and they don't move get him to the vet ASAP, if you touch him and the do move, then he was probably resting in a weird position. If you are worried, there really is only one person who can truly anser if he is ok-the vet.

  3. its fine, it is just relaxing.  Mine does it ALL the time and is not compacted.  If it ever does get compacted try giving it baby food, its very watery and should loosen things up  : )

  4. The word is "impacted" not "compacted" (this goes to Anne as well).

I've never heard of that being a symtom of impaction. The only symptoms I know of are loss of appetite and lack of defecating.

If it defecated then it's not impacted.
