Please help been on computer almost 24 hours due to somethings. need to get off and problems with antivirus

my abv free 7.5 said I could no longer get updates. tried to remove took 20 attempts as it kept crashing. Finally removed. added avg free 8 same thing finally got it on there and said I was not protected and the antivirus and antispyware were not updated. tried and would not do..removed and reinstalled, Now I cannot get it on there, It crashes after going through a bunch of steps..tired about 20 times saying this program is not respond.so frustrating. I am tied. Tried to put avast on there and do not understand it..my yahoo answer changed and that finally did registration key again problems took forever..then this green box with green stripes on screen no where to get it off there and don't know how to scan at all.

also can I get avg free 7.5 download anywhere as I hate avast and avg 8 does not finis but clashes..have I any other options.

sounds like you have some software conflicts going on there that may be unrelated to your anti-virus.

uninstall the antivirus programs

go to kaspersky to do an online scan to make sure you are not infected with any virus (be patient - it takes a long time to download the virus definitions and do the scan)

get kaspersky off of a torrent ASAP trust me this antivirus program will do miracles or get nod32 trust me dont use avg c**p oh and never get mcaffee
