  1. a) For every mol NaCl one mol AgNO3 is required. You have

    n= m(NaCl)/M(NaCl)=m(AgNO3)/M(AgNO3) moles.

    m: Molecular weight. M(AgNO3)=170 g/mol and M(NaCl)= 58 g/mol

    Rearranging the equation gives:

    m(agNO3)= m(NaCl)*M((AgNO3)/M(NaCl) = 228.62 g

    b) Same procedure as in a)

    m(AgCl)/M(AgCl)=m(AgNO3)/M(AgNO3)

    m(AgCl)= 143 g/mol and M(AgNO3)= 170 g/mol

    Rearranging and inserting the given values results in m(AgCl)= 90 g

  2. a, 228,5

    b. 90,5
