my girl is going to france and she bought a att pay as you go phone will it work in france?

She must have tri-band for it to work. Most likely it won't work over there. The easiest thing is to contact the phone company she is currently using. I use T mobile and it is an easy step to make it work oversees. :) Enjoy Paris!!

Probably not.  Most cell phones do not work in Europe unless you really have an expensive plan and a top of the line phone.  Check it out at the local cell phone store.

Depends what country she bought the phone in.  If it's a US phone, no it won't work in Europe unless it tri-band.  Ask at the store where she bought it.

If she calls your cell phone on a landline, with a phone card, she pays for the call - not you.
