Please help for people who have been to egypt??

im going to egypt over the summer for 2 months

i want to know everything about it, like where all the best places are in the best cities, the weather, i also want to know how to manage the workers that are selling in stores and stuff, wats the average price for stuff there

please help cause ive never been there, its my first time

the only places i have went to is yemen and dubai

tell me everything please!!!

it will be hot , so bring cotton clothes , but not too open or too short .

there are historical places you can visit while you are in Cairo, the Pyramids , the Sphinx , Sakara Pyramid , the Egyptian Museum, the Hanging Church where Mary and Jesus sought refuge from their enemies .

there is Khan El Khalili which is famous for its bazaars .

there are big malls , City Stars .

the shop assistants are polite and helpful . ask about what you want and the prices .

the prices here are lower than anywhere in the world .

the exchange rates of foreing currencies are high .

one dollar= 5.35 Egyptian pound .

a sterling = 10.40 EP

a euro = 8 .50 EP

i'm sure you will love your stay. you didnt mention where will you stay in Egypt, but i will give you a breif about main cities there.

1)Cairo, it has many places to hang out in and having fun,

malls: City Stars Center, its the largest mall in Egypt and has many designer shops and a huge food court, cinemas and hypermarket.

Khan EL Khleely distrect:, its an ethnic palce with many ethnic restaurents and sovunirs shops, you can buy a lot of stuff there cheap.

Great Pyramids of Giza: you will see the anicent magnifecent world wonder and you may see the Large pyramid from inside too, and ride camels or hourses.

Egyptian Muesem: at downtown you will see many monimets of old Egypt specially the Pharonic age.

Sharm EL Sheikh & Hurgada:

it will be great holiday, its the city of peace and you will just love it! and enjoy diving, snorkling, parasailing or just lying on the sandy beaches!! and you can go for atrip to island or "Ras Muhammed" place, its great.

there is a lot of sovunirs to buy, local stuff, hand made in the market, and yes its cheap,

El Gouna:

near Hurgada, it has a special atmosphere with the large artifecial lakes, hotels,villas and marina, each villa there have a sea view! fantastic !!

North Coast, Marina:

where te meditrenian sea and beautiful beaches, and te weather is cooler than Sharm and Aswan.

Marina is one of many  touristic villages along the noeth coast, you can jet ski and swim and hang around well, it has many hotels  and private beaches.

BIG question!  I'll start the ball rolling.  Weather will be HOT but if you are lucky like me lots of air conditioning. (However, hubby is Egyptian he knows where to go, I DID fall asleep in the back of the car a lot!) Pyramids are great in Giza, Khan El Khalil (a souk, bizarre I think that's the name) in Cairo is great.  Luxor is fabulous.  Sharm El Sheikh is fun and you can snorkle and have nice beaches but it's not that traditional etc.

Tell the workers in the shops "La Shokrahn" that means no thank you in Arabic.  They pestered hubby in Italian (he is part Italian, only a little though) and he snapped back at them in Arabic they thought he was Italian BOY did they get a SHOCK!)
