  1. I am actually in the process of redecorating my room also. &&also doing the wall shelves deal. Target actually has wall shelves, but if you are looking for more options. You should go to IKEA, which is where I am buying my items. It's affordable and looks great. The only problem with IKEA is that you have to buy the mount and screws separately. Target comes with it all in one package. I'm sure Walmart has some shelves too. You should definitely look at IKEA.com to see the different wall shelf lengths. They have many ideas as well. Very very affordable.

  2. I am in the process of redoing my room black and white. I didn't want to paint the walls black because that wold be too dark so I came up with this idea to paint all the walls white and hang up black sheers a long one wall, not over a window but the whole wall. It really looks great so far and I even put a vanity against it and it really looks good. You could always do a brown or pink sheer. just hang them like you would hang a curtain. Best of luck!

  3. I want to re-do my roomtoo..actually my entire apartment..just not sure where to start off from..I think Ikea would be good and walMart..get little things and they would make a difference in your room.. that's what i want to do..but what is your budget? mine is around $200..since i am not working and i am gonna hve to borrow my mom's visa for it..

  4. you could put up matching shelves with pictures also try framing pictures of flowers and putting them up :]

  5. hit up ikea!!!! you can get great stuff for cheap!  i suggest not overdoing it with color, let your bedspread be the big statement, and then small pops of color throughout the rest of the room.  black and white wall art.  floating shelves from ikea in the same shade as your furniture.  check this out- its pretty much exactly what i have, except for your bedspread!!!
