I'm 24 weeks pregnant and sleep-deprived. I have to completa all this paperwork by the 31st of the month. please, any help is greatly appreciated.

This is what i have available:

--Mint medley tea with the following ingredients: with peppermint leaves, spearmint, rose hips, lemon peel, and hibiscus flower

--Lemon herb tea with following: rose hips, lemon grass, lemon flavor, lemon peel, lemon verbena, peppermint leaves, vit C, hibiscus, citric acid

--vick's rub

--lemons

--apple cider vinegar

--a veggie/rice steamer that is heating up as we speak

So i am sooo desperate for sleep. I was thinking of throwing all this in the pot and steam it and breathe it. Any suggestions? maybe not include something? any help and quick would help!

  1. You can get your doctor to write you a note stating you can only work a certain amount of hours. Every few months I'd lessen my load by one day. By the end of my pregnancy I was working one day a week. Remember..how you feel is how your baby feels. Relax. As soon as you walk in from work go to bed. s***w the dishes. s***w the errands. Lay that load on someone else or they can go undone until after your deadline.

  2. Its not the best thing but I lived on Vick's and the humidifier my whole third trimester.

    Congrats btw!

  3. Would you be able to eat those gooseberrys(called as amla in india)... It helps u in great way to over come the sinus problem.. All the very best and wishing u a speedy recovery...

  4. 1. Meditation, try to relax.

    2. Do you think your boss would extend the deadline? May as well give it a try (ask him/her).

    3. If you have housework to do (Cleaning, cooking, etc) ask some friends to help out.

Last. You're pregnant, just do everything possible to lessen the load. Good luck.

  5. You don't have it but a plain saline nasal spray can help a lot.

  6. Well I have pregnancy books and it says that you can totally take time off from work because your not feeling well from being pregnant and you don't need a doctors notice or anything and they can't fire you because its a symptom of pregnancy. but then again some places will still try to s***w you over but u can try asking ur bosses though because being over stressed while pregnant can really be bad for the baby.

As for me I'm pregnant right now as well and i find the best

way to relax is to just breathe.

In my pregnancy books it also says to try breathing from the belly baisically when you inhale you stretch out (inflate) ur tummy as much as u can then when exhaling of course do the opposite. just focus on the breathing excercise and it will

    help calm you down.
