Please help i really need it...picture included?

Question

ok so im 13 and in 8th grade and i have a huge birthmark on my forehead yes its a birthmark not a mole! but everyone makes fun of me and also says its a mole i really want to get it removed..how old do u have to be? it doesnt look big but it is..its by my eyebrow

It is not a matter of age, as long as you have your parents consent. They would have to sign a form giving consent for the surgery. It really comes down to if they want to pay for it or not. This would be considered ELECTIVE surgery because it is not really required for health reasons, so no insurance will pay for it. The cost will all have to be paid out of your parents pockets. However, I would think cost would not excessive, but I am certainly no skin speciallist. Just sit and honestly talk with your parents and tell them the mark makes you sad and you would be so gratefull if they would go with you to see about getting it removed, (or actually covered with more skin).

<3 summa luv>3...it does not look that bad. My suggestion is to have your parents take you to a skin surgeon and have it removed. They will graft a piece of skin of yours to the spot and you will not even know it had been there. You may also want to go to a beauty shop and have your eyebrows thinned it will make your face more pretty than it is, then watch how your peers want to compliment you.

Ok, that is gone as well as the pole that was growing out of your head.  I bet that hurt!  

Seriously, talk to you Mom and Dad, and see if they will take you to the doctor and ask the doc about.  You are only 13, and really it does not look that bad.  To remove a birth mark may require surgery.  Good luck.

It's a BIRTHmark, right???? Which means it is SUPPOSED to be there!!!! You are a beautiful girl, and you need to cherish your originality!!!!  Wait until you get into the 10th or 11 grade, kids (boys especially) are much more mature by then, and they (boys) probably only pick because they like you..... Trust me, even boys at the age of thirty do that to show that they like you..... LOL

That doesn't look bad, Leave your face alone, your a pretty girl. Kids we always talk, just don't pay them any attention.
