Please help. i wana buy a videocamera with a photo camera. i know there must be one that exists. help me?

i wana take pictures but also make videos but i only wana buy one thing. and if it exists, where can i get them and for the cheapest price?

Most modern digital cameras have a video function. The only problem is the quality is usually inferior to cam corders and memory can be a problem.

Most digital cam-corders also have a picture function. But the quality is usually not comparable to a stand-alone camera.

I have a Fuji 9500 digital camera which also takes video. The video is okay but will not equal the 9 megapixel images the camera takes.

I have a sony hard drive handicam. This stores straight to the 40gb hard drive. The pictures it takes are not great as it is very low resolution. The movie images are okay but not as good as most disc camcorders and certainly pale in comparison to HD camcorders.

I would have thought an HD camcorder is the best option as the pictures will also be better quality - at least 3 mega pixels (which is not a lot nowadays....)

Basically I don't know of a model that does both functions really well.
