It was evening around 5 p.m while my dad was jogging down in the park, i saw a huge, long green snake hanging around in the fence, at first i don't think it's a snake, probably a green rope. But i saw its eyes looking at the field, when i approached, it gone slowly. but my fence is partly seperately with many triangle-shaped wood, but incredibly, the snake walk straightly through the fence while i was calling my dad to go up here.. the snake was killed as it might be the highly venomous one by the look of its skin. Let's see this picture:

  1. Looks like a grass snake to me.  I can't be certain though since I can't see its head very well.

  2. Why are you killing snakes for NO reason!  Snakes are a very important part of the ecosystem.  Many species are declining and endangered due to people like you who just kill them for no reason..NOT even knowing the species.  Next time, leave the snake alone...or have it relocated by an expert if it is venomous.

  3. ew ew ew i just  got the chills!!! its a good looking snake though!!! but ew i cant stand them!!! lol...

  4. Usually if the head is triangular, it's poisonous. If it's oval-shaped it's not. But it is brightly colored...

  5. Looks like  an adult grass snake, not poisonous.  Keep it around.  They eat the bad critters.

  6. I believe it's a Paradise Flying Snake (Chrysopelea paradisi). They're found in parts of Asia.

Here are some sites with info. about them:

    maybe a speckled kingsnake

where do you live?  US?  I don't find it in my field guide to North American snakes.  I can definitely say non-venomous though.
